Policy

The payment and cancellation policies are designed to make payment and record keeping as painless as possible, ensure attendance, and help keep my teaching schedule flexible and open to all of my students despite a tight schedule. All of us (including me) need to reschedule or cancel from time to time, and giving an early heads-up will help keep my teaching schedule flexible enough to accommodate requests for make-up and rescheduled lessons

Rescheduling/Cancelling Lessons

If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson this MUST be done by telephone (emails and text messages are not acceptable). If you give less than two days notice when cancelling a lesson, regardless of your reason for cancelling, you will be charged the full lesson fee, because, had you given more notice, your lesson slot would have been offered to other students. However, there is no charge for rescheduling a lesson to a time and day within the same week that the lesson was originally scheduled for, if such a slot is available.

Punctuality

You cannot expect your lesson to be moved back to accommodate lateness (regardless of the reason i.e. traffic, working late, etc), and lessons will end at the scheduled time. For example, if you are 10 minutes late for an hour long lesson then your lesson will last only 50 minutes, but the full price of the lesson will still be payable. · Please bear in mind that if you arrive early the previous lesson may not have finished, and you should expect to wait.

No Show

If you do not show up for a scheduled lesson, regardless of the reason, you will be charged the full price of the lesson.

Payment

Payment should be made in cash at the end of each lesson.
